"Vampirized Lucy"
[Part Two of Two. Prev.-"Seduction of Lucy"]

About This Piece:

[Third piece from my second attempt to the Dracula Project]

This is my favorite part of the book, when Van Helsing and doctor Seward spy Lucy as she takes a little girl to her crypt to feed on her, but she discovers them and transforms into fog and disappears from their eyes. Seward in his diary describes her as the complete anthesis of the original Lucy, her vampire incarnation appears to them as a revenous and voluptuous seductress that even causes them a strange repulsion. I wanted to do the exact thing here, but in my own way, I wanted this to be a really foggy scene, whith the pale moon reflecting on Lucy's face. I also wanted to do her with her gown covered with blood on the chest and also blood on her mouth. This one was a hard one, as you can see, I used two different pictures for the dress, also, the face and the hair are like five different pics, all of Amy Adams, since, other way it would have looked cheap. Well, this is it, so, please enjoy it :)

I don't normally care for bloody vampires but this works perfectly. Great picture.

I love it! Amy Adams would make a wonderful Lucy, though Rachel Hurd-Wood is another favourite of mine. You should do some Mina pieces, it would be interesting to see your take on that character =) Great job on this and the other picture, I would rather watch your movie by far than that 1992 one... (Sadie Frost was an amazingly creepy vampire, but her living Lucy was not so innocent as I imagined... sigh... lol)

Very nice indeed! Have you ever considered doing the lead vampire in Kim Newman's ANNO DRACULA?
